Description
Foggy LandingI really hope everyone likes this - cause it too 3 renders at 2+ hours each to get the fog to look good...
Needless to say created with Blender - edited in GIMP
Enjoy

Thank you - it's a lighting effect in Blender

Very nice, though should should add some varied textures on the floor and perhaps the building to make it look more real-worldish

I did a image map for the ground - aka UV Map - so I can easily add details to it and the buildings fascia.. The grill is a UV map as is the actual landing zone area... so I can do a lot more to the image textures for this project when I revisit it to animate the transports take off....

Thank you, this is basically done... I may come back and animate a take off.... but, I think I need more memory than I have to make it look good.

Thank you, I actually like the overall look - I may come back to this at a later date and see if I can do an animated take off...

I will - just got a few too many things going on at once --- just watch my gallery == like a lot of new stuff will be coming -- and a lot of revisits - and a lot of them will be created as resources for others to use.

I thought you used the Volume primitive for the fog. But then, to imitate fog in Blender, you have to use the light. The light was actually an amazing effect, it makes the renderer look more like the actual night fog.

Yeah, It took me a few tries to get the 'look' -- first one came out almost totally white...

Yeah, but there's more to it than just that... Ray Shadow, Glow Intensity, Glow Offset, Glow Type....

Thank you - it's actually a lighting effect (ie there is no fog )
