I remember Gentoo had a crappy version of that. Even four sides is cool! How does it interact?

If I move the mouse to the upper left - it brings up what you see in the deviation - or if I click on my taskbar (which is up the right side) it spins

That's so much better than the Gentoo. If you went too far to the side, the screen would just flip on you.

I set the bar to the side to prevent that as this one can do that too

Ah! There was no way to prevent it except by closing all the windows. And the desktop was the same, you couldn't put certain icons on different workspaces. They were all present on all faces.

If I had a REAL video card I could do some more interesting things ... as dual Desktops on Compiz Fusion I could rotate them separately so 8 screens on 2 monitors

Do you have access to a library computer, maybe a school computer... (on highspeed it would only take on hour - one 28.8 it'd take a day...)
by the way is the 28.8 limited by your modem or your ISP.. (cause if it's the modem - I'll send you a nice 56k)

darkKiell In reply to SiathLinux [2008-03-04 02:23:32 +0000 UTC]
yes , i think the 28.8 is actually limited by the phone comp hardware, yeah , i

i have to sort out my main comp before i fool with linux - like EXPOSÉ 6 guideline 3636 pixels wide and/or 2657 high or higher - mine is 3600 x 2700

To use Linux on Dial up = you'll need an external REAL modem (ie the PCI ones are not 'real' they are 'controllerless' ie windows tells them how to do what they do... real modems do what they do correctly...
