Description
I was asked to make a Menger Sponge in 3d - to count the number of faces... it was a favor.So since I had it made I choose to Animate it...
Made with Blender 2.48a - standard render

Yeah cam needed lots of adjustment - newer version rendering now..

It's rendering rather fast, but I had to readjust the lighting and I forgot to do the starscape and change the sky color... so it's re-rendering...

It's kind of awkward just leaving the camera in that one view while moving it around. But the sponge is awesome!

Yeah, it was more to show the 'inside is the same' more than anything... I could actually manipulate the camera a lot more, but it's a pain not to 'go through' mesh than it may appear with this shape... so I 'kept it simple'
