Description
Project 19 -Well, the basics of the body are done - This vehicle will have lights but I'll add those later (they will be on the front of the wheel cover - Body is only colored, the material settings are not set.
I will probably do a UV Map of the body in order to do logos and number board...
Floor for inside not done yet - will include the pedals, and all hand controlled things.

Good -- I've UV Mapped the body - to see if I can make it look better
I'll also be finishing the seat today.

I don't know how the body gonna look like in the ending. The wheel looks good.

The body is in the basic shape that it will end at -- a lot of cleanup on the shape needs to be done - and some rounding of some of the edges..

Ahhh... I tried to use Blender but found the user interface very unfriendly.

The newer version has made the interface a lot better - you should try it again.

Unless it's changed in the last 2 - 3 months then I still think the interface is VERY unfriendly

Do my tutorial - the interface actually works well once you understand what does what!!

I'm not so sure there is any value in that. I get everything I want in an easy to use interface with Vue. Besides I am philosophically opposed to freeware

It's not freeware.... "Blender is the free open source 3D content creation suite, available for all major operating systems under the GNU General Public License." It's Open Source... an I'm opposed to overpaying for software just because of a 'brand name'...

LOL... a rose is a rose is a rose.
But to each their own, and I certainly don't blame people for making the choice to use it. If I could find something that wasn't subpar (either ease of use, or capability or both) I would probably use it as well. I just don't understand what would possess someone to offer it to the public. Then again I am so capitalist that I bleed green

I believe in making money - I have no issue with making money - nor do I see an issue with large corporations being profitable - I DO however have an issue with paying 800 bucks for a program that didn't cost 800 bucks to produce - I especially have a problem paying that kind money for a program that only works on an OS made my a company that has cost me massive amounts of lost information.

very nice work, it look to me like you have used an automatic smoothing modifier, i would sugest it is best to do by hand as you will get a even smoothness around the whole model.
I used to use the smooth modifier now i never use it, as it is a bit of a no no it the games industry! ^_^
anyways great progress so far kee up the good work! ^_^
