I'll work on some more stuff soon, trying to learn this whole Zmod thing in order to make 3d objects (ie cars, trucks, buildings, etc, in order to use those in an Evo 4X4 2 game I have, and of course submit here too....) I know that I can do the texture maps and such with the Gimp, so that's the plan..but I want to learn how to do everything with the Gimp 1st then I'll get that whole Zmod thing working for me.

See my thought is if I could 'wrap' my images the same as my friend did, then I could essentially 'paint' a truck...with my art...so I could have my signature across the back, an image on the hood and an image on the doors/side....

Evo 2's vehicles are simular in 'working' as those in NFS4, and several other driving games so once I get this worked out, I'll be able to use them in several games... and submit the screenshots from the games here to show my work.

Takes a bit of planning, ie must be done in right order or you have to work harder to fix it....k
color back background: Filters/Render/Clouds/Plasma - play with the number there to change the setting, move the Turbulence slider to change the size of the effects...side not this could also be done for a selected area instead of the entire background...
fire effect (swirl) : Filters/Render/Nature/Flame - each slider can effect the way it is shaped and the way it looks, Colormap is default to Cusom Gradiant, so play with which gradiant you've selected and it will give you more variations in the look. Click edit this gives you more options Variation: Same is showing, but there's a lot of choices, the ones I used on what I submited are sunucidal, and spherical....Enjoy....
Oh, and I'm glad ya liked it....wasn't sure what responce I'd get....
