This is a rim (duh right

I have to use the web based up load system - which isn't to unlike uploading to DA ('cept that vid files take forever even with DSL)

I've looked at my cookie permissions in the Cookie Manager and I found one that said that YouTube was not permitted to set cookies so I deleted that and hopefully that will fix things.

good model, but like others have said, the smoothing groups need sorting out

Based on the wheel, I can't really judge how good it is. Could you give me some wireframe so I can judge easier. The material needs a little work. The reflection on the floor is nice. I can see that the rim reflection is sharp, but not like good, it like wiggly thing with sharp turn. Don't got much to say.

I do them as an object, although now I can do the letters on the side of the tire since I worked out changing text to mesh

I saw a video created with Blender - that was downtown London - they did a 'fly-in' with the camera from outerspace - and came in close enough to read Big Ben's numbers...

Well, that short animation took 4 1/2 hours to render... so yeah, so you kinda have to set it to render just before going to work/school/sleep and then see the finished render when you come back to the computer later

Must be nice - I really need a computer for just rendering ... but the only other computer I have that could even try is a PIII@450 with 512MB Sdram and a nVidia GeForce 2 MX/MMX 400 (64mb)

well my computer isn't exactly very powerful. It is in fact 6 yrs old . P4 1.6 GHZ 64 MB Nvidia 512 MB RAM
I might get a new one next year as i go to colledge

i know that creating 3d shapes its very hard even the simple shapes .... i have tried and the only thing i have done is cubes ...

But blender creates the cube default for you to play with ...
