What are the chances you could do a bit of negative bump on those too-perfect cushions? Just a thought.

It's possible, once I get my computer to stop being ignorant....

That's my mantra these days. It's just an idiot machine. It's just an idiot, it isn't doing it on purpose.

Well the ignorance wasn't the computer.... suppose you could go read my journal to see what I'm talking about...

Of course not, but always blame the machine! If you've learned anything, surely you've learned it's always the machine's fault!

SiathLinux In reply to markopolio-stock [2008-02-05 08:38:39 +0000 UTC]

well, I do usually blame the machine, but in this case some person was to blame.

erm actually it is cause I hadn't done the 'legs' yet

Siath,

Also very nice. Are three of the four table supports supposed to be on one side of the table? The left and right ones seem to be placed in the ends of the base, but don't go to the ends of the top as I would expect them to. Kinda leaves the side closest to the camera poorly supported.

there are 3 legs, 2 at angle from center towards couch, and one angle from center toward kitchen (this view is facing away from kitchen)

Well, it would still suck if ya hadn't had commented about how dark it was... (and it still is much brighter on my system than on windows (my daughter - the other Linux computer sees it about the same as I do...) not sure why Windows makes things look so dark...

I have noticed something interesting as I now have 3 Windows computer (XP Pro desk, XP Pro Lappy, and ME desk), and 2 Linux (MandrivaONE, and Kubuntu) and on BOTH Linux computers the lighting is fine, but on every Windows computer shows them very dark...

Well I'm in process of doing another view with the lights cranked to near Max... if it comes out dark I have NO idea how to get more light without adding more lights (which would bog the render badly...)

3DEricDesign In reply to SiathLinux [2008-01-31 22:40:01 +0000 UTC]

ok is dark because the sofa is black Grey and...
your table glass is tainted a the background is black,
so if you put the wall white or anathing ligth color
your mod come out . is just suggestion

The wall is white - (I've just re-rendered the kitchen with the lights cranked WAY up... go look and comment )

I wanted the table to be 'bold' erm 'make a statement' as it were ... well 1" thick blue glass -- yeah that's a statement
