The Kitchen Work in Progress 4The is the Range / Oven island in The Kitchen, showing the completed textures of the island, I will be adding a drawer handle, baking pans in the pan holder slots and the hanging rack of pan above the two ovens....
All cabinet 'faces' are done, but still have cabinet doors and drawer fronts to do... I've already added the stainless steel dishwasher, but still need to add the microwave ... and a lot of other small kitchen appliances and accessories

Looks good so far - perhaps some reflection and stuff especially on the worktop would improve it more.

they will get reflects but I will do that later as I to first see how much reflectivity is gong to be needed for a YafRay render (think I got it fixed - crosses fingers)

Beautiful. Only one thing I see. It looks like the shelf is cantilevered over the cooktop. It just looks like if I tried to put a pot on that back burner, that it would hit the shelf and be half off the burner. Otherwise this is wonderfull!!!!!!

"Point of View" rendering ... ie how it looks at that particular angle...

Something you will have to be mindfull of for the final render, though the angle you pick for that will encompass the entire kitchen and probably not be a problem.

The angles for the final render will be interesting as this space has a living room and a patio attached.... and I'll be wanting the other 'spaces' to show on the angle that I view the kitchen from...

Are you able to give the marble a slight transparency just under the surface? I think that might make it look a bit more realistic.

I'm going to play with the reflect settings on it and the IOR settings to see what effect I can get with that ..
