If you're going for the psychedellic look, then you've definitely won there. For a moment I thought my monitor was going all funny; it reminded me of the colour effects you would get when looking at older LCD screens from a wide angle.
As Zethara mentioned before me, soft edges would also be a nice thing to see here (I probably made that remark when commenting on another of your pictures). Also, the black of the shadows of the planets doesn't seem to blend with the background colour that well. It might be my gamma settings, but I can see some clear difference between the black shadows of the planets and the colour of space you've chosen.
Looking around at other space work, it is common to have the space background not just some plain black, but they somehow seem to blend with the colour of the planet.
*Hmm, trying to dissect as to what makes other pictures' shadowing work...*
Alright, I think it may be because the colours of their planets are all so vastly different from the overall colour of your space. Going for a more uniform colour scheme may help and selecting colours not too far away on the colour wheel from the main colour may also help. But seeing as you let your youngest pick out the colours of the planets, I think we can let this little thing slide for this picture

Since I had let my daughter choose the colors for the planets I wanted to 'play' a bit with how 'space' looked - so I actually copied all of the 'black' and then opened as new - edited it to death and then 'pasted' it back... which is why there is that 'blackness' at the planets .... I learned 'how to' and 'what not to' do....

Wow..that's a psychedelic solar system! I like the lighting...I think the shadows are a bit harsh...they should spread more softly at the edges..or something...I've softened edges in postwork with blurring before. I really have no idea how your programs work, but that might be an option.

Yeah, my youngest chose the planet colors, and we chose the placements, I added the astroids... did the blender render, then opened in the Gimp to do the rest... The Gimp has a blurring tool...... it works well, I just forgot to use it....
