Tadashi was thrilled when Hiro (the older one, on the right) and Jiro (the younger one, on the left) were born. And he still loves them and would walk through a nest of rattlesnakes for them. But... yeah. They do this. Pretty often, too.
It doesn't help that they both have IQs in the theoretical ranges, but wildly divergent interests. Hiro's skill set is overwhelmingly STEM; Jiro is oriented towards the humanities and liberal arts. The same year Hiro created the microbots that promised to revolutionize the engineering and construction fields (securing his entry into SFIT),Β Jiro wrote a best-selling novel that was instantly hailed as the "Great Gatsby" of the 21st century (assuring his admission to SF State, where he is double-majoring in Psych and Poli Sci.)
Hiro's interests? Gummy bears, video games, and underground botfighting. Jiro's likes? Gourmet chocolates, painting in oils, and various acts of... civil disobedience. Again, nothing in common...

Hiro's been making clones of himself before tadashi was even ALIVE. By taking a blood sample, and sticking the needle farther in the skin than it should be reveals this:
-Hiro is NOT HUMAN, but a Hamadian
-Hamadians are duplicates of Hiro, who are genetically modified when emerged from the cloning machine to have partial IMMORTALITY, supreme reflexes (able to CATCH A BULLET FROM 20-30 MILES AWAY), COMPLETELY Bulletproof (even if Naked), have a skeleton made of something FAR FAR tougher than The strongest metal on earth, and able to take out large armies of Dr who daleks, the whole Star Wars Galactic Empire, and a Dr who Raston Warrior robot (which can shoot deadly arrows, and move faster than the eye can coordinate (it's like as if they're teleporting), with NO problem, in a matter of MINUTES.
- He was born in 1939, succeeded from college in '52, and completely STOPPED growing/aging in 1953.He has looked like he does as of NOW ever since, and still alive.
