my 4th attempt at using Copic markers. this is a tau fire warrior that was a sect i came up with a long time ago that was infected by the influence of nurgle, turning them into spider like demonic tau spreading disease laced venom in their area.Related content

If ya wanna get really technical the idea of chaos influenced tau just doesn't work because they are not a psychic race.

a buddy of mine said the same thing a while back when i first talked about the concept of it. i suppose i could make up something about how the tau are a rapidly evolving race and time spent on this particular planet that happened to be seeded with potent nurgle artifacts produced a psychic seed in this branch of tau and juice ensued. i dunno.

YES! I've been looking to see corrupt tau for a long time. This is perfect, although, it's hard so say what faction it falls under. If It were up to me I'd make it a Tzeentch minion simply because he gets no love and Tzeentch is particularly odd when it comes to manifestation.

it's not an actual thing, as some of the gents above or below have wrote, the tau aren't psychic so they can't really be influenced by chaos, but i think that since they rapidly evolve over short spans of time maybe they could become psychic, who knows.

While i like the use of the markers very much, and the idea of a corrupted tau, this surely wouldn't be a nurgle corruption. Slaanesh more probably, Dark-Eldar influenced even more probably. Nurgle influence is disease, corruption, decay, never smoething perfectly stable or "clean", shall we say it.

yeah but everybody does fat rotting stuff for nurgle since grandpappy nurgle himself is fat and rotten, but i wanted to head into a different direction with spider poison/toxins being the way that nurgle's blessings are being spread through the "cleanest" of the 40k races. i'd say eldar are the cleanest but they were super bad back in the day to spawn something as terrible as slaanesh. i'm just tryin to zig rather than zag i suppose.

the thing is, nurgles blessings are his way of making his children more beautiful. They aren't venoms and toxins, but actual diseases and decay. That's why everyone looks dead and rotten
