I think it's really interesting how it appears to tower over us and yet we don't feel the full extent of it... the point of view is great and the perspective is awesome. Part of me wishes that things weren't as steep so that we could get more of a measure on things, but eh.
I like the design and how steeped in cultural roots this is. I think the sepia tone sets the atmosphere and mood well, and there's just enough contrast for it to make a great effect.
It does lack a bit of impact, though... I'm not sure whether that's because of the monotone, the lighting, the lack of clouds or something else. =/
Other than that, it's quite cool! I think the way you've angled the shot is brilliant, and... yeah, it's quite interesting to see something so different to western stuff and all.

Hey again! And thanks!
Yeah, because of the absence of clouds or any other references for that matter, it looks extremely dull and the height the tower is not accurately conveyed.
The angling actually turned out to be pretty good, something I really wasn't expecting.
The sepia too turned out okay giving it that historical look.
Will work on backgrounds and lighting, it didn't occur to me why the picture looked drab even though the details came out well enough and all and that thought was nagging me quite a bit. Like I've said before, you're a real boon to us amateur photographers out there. Your critique helps quite a bit in us getting better and better. If only there were more like you Thanks again!

Hmm...
That makes more sense.
I wouldn't call it that.
I mean, I consider myself relatively amateur as well. I haven't been doing it for long, compared to some people.
I'm glad it has helped, though.

Gorgeous. And unearthly. The angle makes it almost look as if it disappears into the sky...
