A couple of big projects have been keeping me busy and leaving little time for any drawing for myself. It has been even longer since I have drawn a good 'ol fashioned pic of zombies in the mud.I spent around 2 1/2 hours on this one. Mainly drawing while watching tv and then coloring it up in photoshop.

Thanks! Luckilly since we are in the photoshop age it is easier to experiment with colors and adjust them if they suck.

the way you use fluid shapes and lines, gives anamazing expression (spectially in the main zombieΒ΄s hand) also the lightning and color pallete, you have somewthig that make your drawings be the most creepy everiΒ΄, im in love with your style!

thanks! I do appreciate it. It has taken me a long time to get comfortable with my own drawing, where I can take more chance with the shapes and perspective without being angry it isn't working out. Thanks for noticing.

Thanks, that means a lot to hear. I sucked so bad in color during college. My teachers made fun of me and siad I should stick to black and white. Then one day a year or two after college something clicked and it all made sense. Weird how that stuff happens. Thanks again.

yeah I've been looking up tutorials left and right.. Hopefully one day I'll get it as well.. Your work however is spot on.. In fact print that piece out, stick it in an envelope and send that to your teachers.....

Thanks! I am not sure if the zombie move any better in the mud. Especially since they are buried up to their chests. Could be an interesting experiment to try.

ahh but you have to consider the endurance factor.humans eventually tire from moving in the mud but the zombie does not.its like this zombie novel im reading right now-monster nation.a zombie with no arms caught up to a running woman cuz it was high altitude in the mountains (less oxygen) and of course she was running in high heels
