A couple of big projects have been keeping me busy and leaving little time for any drawing for myself. It has been even longer since I have drawn a good 'ol fashioned pic of zombies in the mud.I spent around 2 1/2 hours on this one. Mainly drawing while watching tv and then coloring it up in photoshop.

Terrific job! Reminds me a little of the Haunted Mansion zombies. You have the whole dead and rotted look down to a T. I would really like to see you do some freshly dead zombies like the ones from the orginal "Night of the Living Dead" while their wounds and bite marks are still new and oozing 
The color choices for this piece are the best I've seen you use, by the way. Gives the picture a nice nightmarish quality.

I've been wanting to do that. I think I keep putting it off because when the zombie are not rotted they have a lot more personality and remains of their past lives. It humanizes them and gives them more personality while I always try to keep them "monsters". I think I'll try that!

Great drawing. I really like the color scheme in this one. Sort of different from your stuff as of late. I also like how the eyes on the top zombie are so light compared to the rest of the drawing they almost seem to glow.

Seriously, though, awesome work on this, it really paid off. I especially love the detail on the main zombie, from its wretched, twisted features right down to the ropey intenstines dangling from underneath the ribcage. The coloring of greys, blues, and browns really adds to the mood, too. ^^
