Description
This is the uncropped version of the cover art for the "Devil's Rejects" comic book. You can see a lot more here than what was printed on the actual book, mainly more zombies, gravestones and caskets. I had a lot of fun drawing Rob's characters and hope to do some more soon.Related content

I would LOVE to see you do a Devils Rejects/ House of 1000 Corpses picture, that had Captain Spaulding in his clown make-up, Otis in his skull make-up, and Baby in her glamor make-up. Still can't believe no one's done that.
Also if you included Tiny in his sack mask, Rufus in his metal mask, Mother, and Grandpa(Hugo) Firefly in there dinner masks, Dr.Satan, and The Professor (Earl Firefly), It would be the best Firefly family picture ever.
But I'm sure you've had enough of them. Just a suggestion, anyway keep up the great work.

I love the over-all design and lay-out of the cover....Like a stroll down memory lane I hate leaving areas un-touched. The discipline of the illustrator never ceases to amaze me....Awesome.

I havent checked out the book yet, but have seen both of Rob's films. Loved them both, though i thought the first one was better (what happened to doctor satan in The Devil's Rejects??)

Wow its great! I really can't wait to see the movie, I enjoyed 1000 corpses, and I think Rob Zombie is really cool.
Too bad its not at any of the theaters up here in Tupelo (they all SUCK terribly, only like 3 showings a day and only 6 screens and four movies!? Its a total rip-off.)
Saw Rob last night on Carson Daly's show, funny guy seeing Carson sit there and act a bit uncomfortable.

You know I love this one, Iām really digging all of the caskets and the cemetery hill! It's cool that Baby just has two knifes, and tiny is the best! Great piece, thanks for sharing the full version.

Love the detail work... It must of taken you forever and a day, to wrap this up. Maybe not... You'll probably say that it toke you less than hour after your sketch and that's just because of the incredible work in your gallery!

Thanks. Actually I think it took a total of three hours from start to finish. I usually start a picture and just keep going until it is done. I hate letting it sit to be finished because I know I'll come up with another idea that I get more inspired about, I have to get t done and out of the way or it will never be finished.

I hear ya, that's the truth for me and the few that feel the same way. Ideas should never be put in the back-burner. Do it and get it done, it might be the winner! Instead of finding it later and saying "that looks good I should finish this?"...

That book was great, with Rob Zombie, I wish he'd do some pin-up work of his own characters as well, He is such a great artist himself, but we get to enjoy more of the other artists this way.
