I wasn't really feeling all that good the last few days so I ended up drawing this. I guess this is how I felt, although I'm not really sure why there is a naked woman in the puke. Maybe a psych major can explain it to me.EDIT: I guess I am now realising this is kind of gross. Just so you know, I hate puking and as I get older it becomes a more horrible experience. So when I feel sick I got to draw it, and throw in a girl because, well...thats what I do. Just remember there are butterflies in the background.
And if it makes you feel better, that's probably some really good puke made out of peanut butter and ice cream.

Not so keen on the chick in the pic.
The puke monster by himself is looks good and gets the point across.
A nude girl in there being barfed on kind of takes it from a good humored look at illness to a kind of a fetishy thing.
Would have been a better pic without her.

k like omg, I was watching this eposide of Martin Mystery and it was a COMPLETE Evil Dead knock off (the first evil dead, not the second like what ReBoot did... cause there was noone tying chainsaw's to their hands but there were trees dragging women around and the tossing of zombies down hidden doors in the floor... I don't know where that rant came from but there it was.. nice and random

Dave and I saw the American premier of Brain Dead (later released as Dead-Alive) at an old art house theater many years ago. Later, when it came out on video, we tried to rent it, mistakenly picking up an american edited version and wondered what happened to 40 minutes worth of the movie. Speaking of Peter Jackson, I think this drawing of Daves reminds me of a scene from the movie Bad Taste, with the alien emperor guy and the turquoise vomit.
Did you know Sam Raimi took a lot of the great imagery in Evil Dead from another old movie called The Equinox (aka the Beast). The movies are not the same story but some of the scenes are what I hope is homage, or something I'd rather not say, ripped off. I think he mentioned it in an interview or something therefore, he's aknowledged it, so I say homage.

Your link describes the movie pretty well. I wasn't aware of any connection to Aleister Crowley in the movie but I'm certainly no expert on the subject. Regardless of the above mentioned commentary on the movie, I think it's still enjoyable to watch.

This is an odd picture! The colors are rather sickening. I can see the steam rising from the vomit... I can smell it. Augh, that's disgusting. But really cute at the same time. The chick's hair kinda looks like cotten candy. Disturbing. =]

The little butterflies and naked woman crack me up as well. Was that all just to offset how horrible the rest of the picture is? It almost worked, except for the apple core floating around next to her sorta shocks you back into the reality of the drawing.

Nasty yet nice. Although I am taking psychology right now I can't give you an explanation for the naked girl from that perspective. It's probably just an artistic thing to contrast against the horrid vomit. Man that thing's blowing major chunks.
