As King of the Dead, Hades has multiple forms he can take. This form, referred to as the Sphinx form, sports shadowy wings, fierce claws, heightened durability and agility, and far more benefits in battle. Though rarely used since he can settle most fights in his humanoid form, he will sometimes appear in this form to inspire awe and fear in the souls of the dead he guides.
