Description "Wolf's tree", inspired by some legend about an oak still growing in the region of Limousin, south of France (where I'm currently living!!). According to old people, dead wolves' bodies were hanged on its branches after hunting, but another legend mentions a she-wolf giving birth to her youngs in its hollow trunk...

Watercolours and inks on A4 paper.

Having a look through your gallery and everything is so melancholy and lovely and rackham-esque. Thanks for all the beautiful work!

It looks lovely, but out of curiosity, what do you mean with "(no mine!!)"? Do you claim, that the legend is now yours only? Or that the oak is now yours?

Thank you!
I actually mean that Limousin is the region where I'm living today ; I moved out from the north of France some weeks ago.
Maybe my English isn't so good

Merci

It's beautiful. I can understand why you went for the she-wolf story rather than the other one.
