What a wonderful capture, and very timely indeed. I read about the plan to ban them... I think it's a little odd really, I mean, you've got so many thousand people paying their own way, and the government wants to put them all out of a job... what would they do?
If they really hate it and find it demeaning and only do it for the money, then... well, it's not great... but do they dislike it really?

Good picture. I like the b&w. It's funny that the 1st and the 4th guy starting from the left are so alike that it makes me think you've cloned one of them
I saw that in the news, that's now it's forbidden in India and they were supposed to get a bicycle instead, but they've got nothing so far. This world's moreality is so stupid and ridiculous sometimes.
But in the picture, I don't see the part they grab, the bar in the front side. Is it removable?

yup. here in indonesia... this kind of becak, not use that bar. i think its modified... when first come in too this country... i wonder where does this kind of trasnportation invented?
