It's rendered ... but it took me some work on the texture.

It was worth the effort! Did you start with a commercially-available base, or create it from scratch?

It is based on Dragonlady Hair by SAV, which is an outstanding product.
Lexaja is an OC of my wife and she had her own imaginations esp. of the hair. So I modified nearly every map: new colouring, own specmap, more contrast in the transparency map .. and heavy tweaking on the parameters.
