I really like the style of this piece. The colours look really nice. I also like how drippy it is in places, like being sopping wet out on a snowy night. You did a really good job on the face, I love the mournful eye. The ears are really pretty too and I like how you did the scales. The little puff coming from the nose is a lovely touch too.

I actually used blue, although I suppose it could come out green on some screens X}
Flat black always looks rather lifeless. The trick is to add a little colour to it.

I'd like to express how this makes me feel through interpretive dance, but I can't because you wouldn't be able to see it, so I'll just try to use words.
Okay...when you were little, did you ever get freakishly bundled up in snowsuits and whatnot and go out and play in the snow until night fell and you were tired so you just sort of flopped over in a snow drift and looked up at the snow falling through the dark, and all you could hear was the wind blowing, and everything around you was cold but the snowsuit was warm so you couldn't really feel anything at all, like you were floating through snowy space, and it was really peaceful and sort of lonely?
Kind of like that.

I love the effects of the snow and breath. It certainly looks cold and I really like how you do a lot of your work on black background. It sets an eerie mood and gives the center characters a nice, bold effect.
