Description
Just having a play around with the new Genesis figure. It's nice, but I won't be completely upgrading to it just yet, there are a few kinks need working out first.Related content

Sweet!! Haha it seems everyone is trying out DS4. I tried it but meh...I might just use it for rendering. What kinks are you having with it?

Biggest issues at the moment are:
That suit is acting up with d-formers, and I have to have the field moved a long long way away from it in order for it to actually interact with the suit, which makes d-forming the prop with ropes rather awkward.
Genesis appears to be completely unaffected by magnets.
Mesh smoothing is a fantastic idea on paper, but it eats up far too much of my system's resources, to the point where having two Genesis figures with clothes on slowed my computer about as much as a scene I did a while back with 7 A3s, as the meshes would unsmooth and then resmooth after every little change I made anywhere in the scene, including moving cameras.

Hmm. That is a problem. You could try setting up the scene in ds3 and make finishing touches in ds4 that's what I tried and it works rather well. But the only problem with that is you would have to put in genesis after if you were to use it.

I love the costumes. I hope that gun fires some kind of neck massaging ray, though!
