Description

Its a giant thing long legged cat like monster with a bunch of tendrils coming out of its body. It would come up from the ocean in the middle of the night and each of its tendrils would sneak into everyone’s homes and leave gifts for them during Taiyun’s Blessing.
No one has ever seen it before because it is so dark that it hides itself in the darkness of the night, but maybe a few of the elders on the island have encountered its tendrils. The creature even gives the bad folk and naughty kids presents because everyone deserves something.
And once it is done, it calls back the tendrils and stares at the moon for a while before slithering back into the darkness of the ocean.

When not giving gifts, this creature watches the island from the ocean. Will scare off monsters if they get to close to children.
