I'd love to know how you did this. It's beautiful. It looks so organic. It might be a typical thing to say but I couldn't help seeing a foetus.
..amazing.

Just let the hand drag the brush on the canvas, don't even think too much about it... but try to go with your instinct of what looks good at the moment... then blend and merge the lines, this is conscious controlled process, and shapes will emerge, again, do what feels good and natural... Thats what these paintings are all about, the id lays the foundation and the superego tries to make something out of it, while the ego has to ballance what the id doodled and the superegos desire for controll and calculation.

Nicely put, and it feels familiar too. I have tried similar things before where I've tried to create completely freely without contriving any kind of style or particular design but it's hard to keep myself from doing what I think will look better. It never does but it's becoming a hard lesson to learn, to force myself to let go completely because that feels like there's no thought put into it and I don't want that. I'll keep trying, you can't grade expression but it's clear there's a technical gulf between us; looking at this image and reading what you said, I know I couldn't do that right now.
Thanks.

It's deffinetly a give and take experience. I feel elation and then immediatley i feel frustration, then elation again, its quite the rollercoaster. the end product may, or may not be what you expected or desired, i know that even as i look at these paintings now, whichever i like changes, when i finished some of these i hated them, and some i really liked, but now, i feel differently, my feelings have flipped. And this is the experience i guess, the temporality of emotion and ellusiveness of pleasure and bauty...
