What happened?... Is what I always ask myself, and my pretty pathetic excuse for a life heh. I wonder, if our past selves as a child were given a chance to have a glimpse of what they'd be in 10 years time, would they want to be an adult after all?
Children, don't grow up too fast.
Even if you may or may not have a lot, or come from different walks of life: Enjoy all the time you have, embrace, laugh, love, before all of that is taken away from you.
I guess if I met my younger self, she would be very disappointed.

This is a sad, but touching idea.Β Even if we change, I think we're still the people we were in the past - just with new strengths, new abilities, and expanded tastes and ideas.Β Hopefully our younger selves would be able to recognize, erm, well, ourselves within us.Β ^^

There's always going to be moments where we wish things had happened differently.
I guess the trick is not to let it get to you so much that it stops you from trying harder

This is so beautiful and deep... thatΒ΄s true, we donΒ΄t need grow up fast... when we are adults and didnΒ΄t enjoy our childhood then weΒ΄ll long for that the rest of our life... i think if we are just kids when we are that indeed, and never ever let other people change our mind or fill our head with bitterness, then we can be happy adults cuz then we will never be that, our inner child will be there forever

I'm sorry!
All the feelings from an extremely bad day at work (amongst other things) went into this one; I suppose I AM somewhat living my childhood dream of pursuing a professional art career... but after being three years in it, one starts to wonder if it was a good decision (commercial work takes its toll on you). It's had its ups and downs, and I'll see where I can go from here.

no need to apologise! it being depressing shows that you know how to use your art to evoke feelings, or whatever, which is very important in commercial skill. I think it's a very successful illustration, actually, just not a happy one XD
