Once again, I'm doing a redraw of a redraw.I went through my files earlier and uploaded every picture of Chou I could find onto toyhou.se and, as I was doing that, ran across a few I wanted to redo so here's the first one.
Chou wearing a sweet looking spring/summer dress. Though it took a while to get right, in the long run; I had a lot of fun with the hair and drawing it flowing around her like that. I have a bit of weakness for characters with long flowing hair (Obviously! 😂) so drawing Chou's hair flowing like that was right up my ally. I also changed the outfit a bit so that it made more sense from a design standpoint.
Another thing I noted as I was working on this is that it's the perfect pose to show off the rose tattoo she has on her shoulder. So, as I was drawing the hair, I had to keep in mind the placement of that tattoo so I wouldn't accidently cover it up.
