I saw a gorgeous little tree a while back that had a beautiful span of colors across its leaves- from the darkest purple to the brightest yellows, and it was so captivating I used it as the centerpiece for this idea here! It was during November, and there is this wonderful song by Kingfisher Sky whose lyrics suit Evin's situation and the overall theme SO well... It all just fit pretty dang well! I had fun pulling this piece together.

I cannot say enough how much I love how this song fits Evin's journey back to the Kingdom! He's had the time he needs to process things a little better, short as it was, and in spite of how his teleportation to Iadlain stirred up a lot of feelings he'd buried up. Evin's always neglected the concept of 'family' and 'home', so to be sent to the one place that fit that description the most in spite of everything- the place's nature itself as well in that- it really made him take another look at things! His visit during the Week of Kin among his relatives helped sort some things out, though. He's now headed back to the Kingdom, and I guess we'll see from there with the lessons he's learned and the conclusions he's come to! And pray to the Alvan gods I find it within myself to portray it properly dangit because I am NOT a natural-born storyteller LMAO

But yeah, the song's lyrics capture his feelings quite well here! Gosh I hope I have the time to expand more on it all through submissions this month, but in the meantime! Hope this wasn't all too hammy I just love this song so much
