I love his abdominals. My Oc has abs like that. But I can never focus on detail because I always draw him so small. I should upsize my pictures so I can get in all the details. This piece gave me the epiphany

there's plenty of ways to colour over it, if you want to explore that method.

I have to confess: many times when I have started a grayscale render, I fully intended to explore some of those methods. But then I get carried away with making it a NICE render, I am usually too tired by the end to add color.
I shall have to putz with this guy later, but now I'm going to play Guild Wars 2 because I went without yesterday in order to finish him.

trust me, when you get good tones down, it won't take you long to colour it (once you're comfy doing so).

I shall have to endeavor. I have an issue of ImagineFX where one of the art walk-thrus includes the grays-to-color method. I just have to remember which one it is. You have any links to online tips, maybe?

For him, yeah. I was attempting to work on a colored piece before this that just wasn't working out. It takes me FOREVER to turn out a quality full-color piece. XP

Oh I don't doubt it. I rarely do full color anything, myself. e3e Its usually just full body characters on mild stock textures for backgrounds. lol
