Just a simple picture. I wanted to show how much of a transition my sketches go through to become a nice, pretty finished product. First of all, they NEVER end up looking much like the original. In this case, I completely reconstructed Lazlo's head, I repositioned Raj's arms/body (I'm aware his arms are still out of proportion... patience, kids, I'm still learning anatomy and poses), and... well. Clam stayed pretty much the same.

My only nitpicks are Raj's arm, the fact that he's the only one who's a weird color, and the weird slash vibe going on between Lazlo and Clam. I swear it wasn't meant to be that way. Lazlo just thinks Clam is ADORABLE.

BTW, Raj is a pink Indian elephant. So don't blame me if he's a little difficult to humanize. At least I think I got his husk-ay-ness down, right? Uh, sure.
