I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the morning I sleep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own

Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes

"Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!"

One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand

I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field

For some reason I can't explain
Once you go there was never
Never an honest word
And that was when I ruled the world

It was the wicked and wild wind
Blew down the doors to let me in.
Shattered windows and the sound of drums
People couldn't believe what I'd become

Revolutionaries wait
For my head on a silver plate

Introducing Skythe:
A few weeks ago I was on the plane heading home and listening to Coldplay and this image just kind of came to me. There was just something about the song that captured me and Skythe came into being. I'll give you his full story once I get his reference sheet done and posted. Hopefully you guys won't have to wait too long.

This is more of just a colored pencil sketch as a result of me playing with colors. I wanted him to look kind of bleached black, since he's been worn and wandering for quite some time, though he's still quite young. So, don't be too tough on the critique here. The purpose here is to give you a feel for the character and show you guys that I've still been active. I kind of like the feel though

Yes...more blue eyes. I know...
