Don't worry about it, my dear. I reckon we're all here for a reason, you know, and there's a quote by Sting from one of his songs that goes something like, "We can only do our best with our given time." I just think of what I'd want most if something was happening to me--or even not, simple things, like holding a door open or saying hello or wishing someone a good day--and I do that for others. Karma.

You know, if these past few days have taught me anything, it's to express gratitude to those I love. I think I needed this as much as he did, and though there is still silence and pain, I feel comforted by the fact that I am learning and growing too. I'm feeling sleepy and it's not even midnight. I haven't been able to settle before 2:00 a.m. these past few nights. But I digress. From this point forward, I will make more of an effort to express love to those who mean the most to me in life

That's a good lesson, definitely. And that's good, that, you know, while it still hurts (which isn't good), the realization has come that you're both learning things from this, and probably beneficial things.
I'm glad you're hopefully getting back to a good sleep schedule. That first night when you sleep well after a period of not doing so--due to whatever--that sleep can be the best.
Oh--and while I'm sure your dA inbox is full, I'd highly encourage you to check out "God's Disgruntled GMO", not only for the pic itself, but (moreso) for the first comment ~legacyofjeff left there... I died laughing, and I think you, of all people, deserve a good laugh right now.
