Inspired by SpicyShimmy's fic Heavy Fire ... [link] .. When they were on Noveria.. such an amazing scene.3/7/13 - Can a couple of you do me a favor? When you view this picture, inbetween Shepard's right arm (the one around Kaidan's Shoulders) and Kaidan's head, is it completely black or do you see a little of the collar from Kaidan's blue spectre armor? I'm starting to worry my monitor might be calibrated drastically differently from everyone else's.. @_@
3/8/13 - Lots of folks have chimed in to say they could see the small detail of the bit of collar between Shep's arm and Kaidan's head so PHEW.. SO RELIEVED! I'm not even kidding you, if I found out this entire time I was doing work and it was coming out washed in black and waaaaaay darker than I meant to I'd jump out a window.

I wish I had Garrus calibrate my old monitor. When I got my new one all my images were were too bright. I'm still in the process of correcting the worst.Β

I've only just finished ME1 but I had Kaiden in my party about 90% of the time. I call him my boy scout.Β
And my Shep doesn't look like this but pardon me while I love this anyway.

I was not a fan of the homosexual Shepard romance in 3, it was just kinda laughable, but this is a very touching piece and speaks to me even though my Shepard saw Kaidan as just his friend. Truly amazing work here.

lol they are my favvveee of course but I have to say that's like the best compliment, that you can appreciate it despite not being into the characters.. I am so glad it can appeal to folks other than us John and Kaidan fans.

I am not sure others have already answered this, but I can see Kaidan's collar from the spectre armor, it's blue-grey-ish.
And as always, wonderful artwork and so much emotion in a single picture that it puts whole books to shame!

PHEW! Yeah that's good to hear, at least you can see some of it. I was worried it was completely black, which would have meant the entire image was mostly black. I was so nervous. And thanks so much btw. I appreciate the kind words.
