I felt like drawing NiGHTS, with lotsa hair. She would probably need a whole other dimension inside her hat to store all that lol. She's supposed to be lying down but the way I drew it makes it a bit hard to tellI may try to do more of these with Reala and Jackle, if my art flow keeps steady. It's been a butt lately >.<

Are those her horns?
In your headcanon, what are Nightmaren horns made of?

I figure they're like the horns you see on goats, made out of bone unlike say a rhino's horn or anything. And I imagine they have various ridges on them, some having more prominent ones and others having smoother horns. I never used it think of them as having horns but I saw a lot of pictures when I was first getting into the fandom with NiGHTS and Reala having them under their 'hats' and it justkind of stuck

But in the games, her "horns" are shown to be flexible. I was thinking that the horns would have been sort of like the head tentacles of the twi-lek from Star Wars.

That makes a lot of sense too, especially because some animation sequences show it to move more like a hat, and others make it seem solid like it has horns underneath. I always thought that maybe they had some kind of magic involved as well, since Nightmaren have magic and all. Maybe putting on the hat makes their horns kind of disappear until they take it off again? Who knows lol, it's pretty open for debate

You did such an awesome job with that pen work, I absolutely love the coloring, shading and lighting! The hair is probably my favorite part though, it's looks fantastic! It's so beautiful and flowing, love how you detailed each individual strand!

It's so hard for me to imagine NiGHTS with hair, since I used to think that "The hats are part of their head and that's it." and it feels a bit strange to see, but wow the way you draw hair *grabby hands* I just wanna roll myself into it, it looks so soft and warm! OAO
