Why's everything going by
at lightning speed,
flashing a fast burst of light,
and leaving,
but going so slow?

Tell me what's wrong with me.
Why can't I just sit down
be a bit more levelheaded,
and say those words,
the things I want to say,
but refrain from going overboard?

Tell me who you think I am.
Why can't I describe me
with all those parts of me,
in a way that makes sense,
not like the fractured parts of me,
but as a whole picture?

Tell me who I should be.
Why do I feel so at a loss
when I think of the future,
like it's a huge, wide ocean,
just waiting to swallow me up,
and try to submerge successful?

Tell me everything.
Why can't I find the answers
to all these questions in my head,
ones that makes no sense,
ones that confuse me,
confuse me like the way I feel about you?
