Description
I lean out the window, and push out the screen,
waiting and listening for the clatter
of interlocked wire and stone.
The angry wind pushes in,
swirling my neat papers into a flurry of mess,
slamming my door forcefully shut
and I pay no heed.
For the sky is blanketed in grey rainclouds,
grey, gray clouds with a tint of blue,
the precise color of your eyes.
Droplets of water fall to the windowsill,
some even sinking into the carpeting,
but their efforts are ignored.
The sun is trying to peek through the clouds,
a piercing yellow in the midst of thick blue.
It's backwards, I believe,
since your blue eyes peek through that mess of blonde.
I suddenly wish to see you.
I suddenly want to be near you.
I know not of your location,
I know not of your status,
I know not of your feelings,
and you know not of mine.
But I cannot help but pray
that you see the same sky
and think of me too.
The rain hits my face and cries the tears I cannot cry.
I whisper to the sky, saying the words I cannot say.
I love you.

Ah! I like this one best. Probably because I love rain, because it's sincere, creative and a good touching poem .

o.o Nnn, really? I don't like this poem much now because of what it reminds me of, so it's hard to see anything good out of it.
;D Glad you liked it though.
