Nice! Looks like that subcarbine's lower receiver has seen a lot of use. The finish is all worn off where it connects with the butt of the pistol grip. Upper looks rather new though.

Best thing about the M16 family of firearms is the modular components, rarely requiring anything more than your own hands to modify aside from swapping barrels (and converting handguards to freefloat, or fixed stock to telescoping stock).

I own a Sabre XR Commando. XR15C971. Milspec material, but civi model (no full auto). Wouldn't want it anyway, waste of ammo and money.

It's a shame you didn't get to shoot it, firing guns on full auto is fun as hell

But still, good picture, and a good gun, gonna head to a local gun show tomorrow and see if I can find some good guns to take pictures of XD
