Description
An art trade I did with , it's not often that I get requests/trades where I get someone's OC who's a villain. I adore villains, and drawing nasty and devious characters so I was really excited when I got the chance to draw this! They gave me the choice to include their OC, Lucifer, with any dog villain of my choice; I immediately went with Roscoe. He's one of my favorite Disney villains and it's been a reeeeally long time since I last drew him. I think the last time was when I was a freshman in middle school, I re-watched his scenes from the movie and used them as references to try to get him exactly just right. He has very exaggerated, sharp, and angular features, so it was a bit tricky trying to get his face right. And now here's part of the art trade, they drew my Lady and the Tramp OC's (Maya and Ramsay) together. And I LOVED it! It's extremely adorable, both for the art style and the romantic pose. Which in a way makes it all the more sadder knowing what happens to them, I really adored it!

Goergette tends to get some flack here and there by some people, but I always absolutely adored her. I thought her diva and dramatic attitude was hilarious and endearing in it's own way. x)

Really cute scene but I hate villains, they don't do anything but mock the heroes and the underdogs.

I have to disagree, while villains often mock the lead heroes, that's not all they do. And of course they mock, they're enemies and don't have a moral compass, among other things that can motivate them. And it's not like heroes don't do this either. A lot of the times it's a tug and pull type of thing, like Peter Pan and Hook. Villains are very important to the story and often can be just as interesting and entertaining as the protagonist (if not more so sometimes). For one thing, they often provide conflict to the story, without conflict there is no story. They direct conflict with the heroes goal and help them struggle and even develop as stronger characters in the end. They also make the story more entertaining and engaging to watch/read. As a kid I enjoyed watching the villains be forces for the protagonist to overcome and made me root for the hero all the more, the nastier the better.
My favorite characters tend to be villains and anti-heroes though, stories without them normally aren't as fun or interesting to me (especially in cartoons), like Hades, Darth Vader, the Joker, Hannibal Lecter, Shere Khan, Frollo, or Shego and Drakken. From what I've seen, there are lots of villains that push the difference between them and the heroes. Heck, there are many villains who think they are moral. There's a reason why people love the villains I listed above. Villains are often complex characters that make one evaluate how much they can do, how far they can go and still keep you rooting for them, they push a lot of boundaries. And more often then not, can also call to question the protagonist, and our own morals and way of thinking. I find both sympathetic and classic villains interesting from a psychological stand point as well, in the same way I find sociopaths and psychopaths fascinating to study.

Well I DISAGREE! Villains are so weak and useless.
What is the point of them if they are going to be defeated when they are supposed to be defeated.
Villains and anti-heroes are idiots and pussy-boys, they will never be as good as heroes.
I'm creating my own hero that can do things anti-heroes can't do.
You want to see a villain that I look up to? Dark Force/Falz from Phantasty Star:
