The night started like any other... and ended like none ever before.
During the night the moon shone upon a child, sleeping and dreaming innocently in a warm and soft bed, tucked in with love. The light of the moon traveled from the night sky down to the earth, through the window and over the small sleeping frame, entering the dream, surprising the child within. With wide eyes the child beheld the light glowing and flowing, knowing something greater was there. It was like the moon eclipsed the sun, but instead of darkness this eclipse shone with more light than the sun or the moon ever could hope to achieve on their own. The moon burning with the light of the sun touched the child and the little flame in the heart of the child brightened. Bathed in the suntouched moonlight the child felt themself rising into the night sky as their flame grew and grew. Like a shooting star or a drop of the sun the child burned in the sky, glowing brighter than every star, second only to the light that embraced them. And in that light the child heard a voice:
"Upon thee I bestow wings as sign of your divine rising.

Upon thee I bestow the sight to find the light in the hearts of your kin.

Upon thee I bestow the palms to carry your light into the world.

Raise, child of the broken.

Raise and become the vessel of light.

Raise and wake.

For thee are more than before."

Then, everything went white.

And when Seraphia awoke, she still felt the light in her heart.
