I think it's because she's gripping above her wrist, if she was holding her hands together they'd likely be the same length.
Though it could also be perspective.

This is pretty epic. However, doesn't her left arm look a little long to you? Her shoulder to the left should be angled more downwards since the weight would pull that arm down.
Other than that, it is awesome.
