Description
Some quick practice with different guns, this time somewhat to scale. These are four of the guns I had considered replacing Fedor's AK47 with at one point.ArmaLite AR18: 5.56x45 cal. Manufactured in the US, Britain, and Japan. Most notably used by the IRA. This rifle is the subject of the Irish rebel song "My Little ArmaLite."
Carl Gustav M/45: 9x19 cal. Manufactured in Sweden and as the Port Said in Egypt. Used by the Swedish army and by US Navy SEALs in Vietnam.
Vz.58: 7.62x39 cal. Manufactured originally in Czechoslovakia, now the Czech Republic. Issued by the Czech and Slovak armies, this weapon also saw some use in Vietnam.
M249 Para: 5.56x45 cal. Manufactured in the US by FN, this is a modified version of the standard M249, featuring a collapsing stock and a shortened barrel. Issued by the US military.

Good question! I've honestly never given it much thought. I honestly don't know. Maybe it has something to with the blowback action most subguns used back then. Would've required more room in the receiver than gas operated systems that most auto and semi-auto rifle use.
