Back / mini Progressive featurePlease enjoy and remember to visit the photographers' galleries as well
I know, I have missed any of you, beautiful people.
Forgive me and please send me more images ...

Shooting Backs is Street Photography
The 'back shot' is less offensive but more tiresome
Some of the masters have used the back shot.
Martin Parr and André Kertész are great examples.

Sometimes what you don’t see is as important as what you do. Lovely shot!

When I saw the thumb, I said to myself: "This is a photograph from Simon"...

beautifully composed, love the contrast.. does it fit within the "street" category though?

you sure know more about that than I do, I would like to know how do you define a street shot. If you care to share

street photography is about being there. time, place, exposure, composition, click. ooor situation, position and what a lot of people like to call 'decisive moment', while graphic and content / semantic both play a 'decisive' roll for me, a lot of people seem to deny the graphic part...
well it's a complex topic, really. I'm not sure it makes much sense trying to define street photography by every single shot, but rather by the way I shoot, what I shoot and what I convey with it.
you can find a (confused) piece of my philosophy on my userpage (right underneath the picture on the right).
if you want to discuss in detail, I suggest you drop by and have a beer or two with me.
