I was working on a commission and photoshop decided to crash so I lost my muse and figured WHY NOT DO THIS to try and build my muse back up.
Anywho.

-2008- I stuck mostly with only traditional mediums and anything I did digitally was done on MS Paint with a mouse because I didn't have photoshop or a tablet. The first picture was one of my very first MS Paint drawings which...was a big pawed Jolteon. Then is a head sketch of Deidara from Naruto, I remember sketching that in my Literature class. Then we have a picture I drew of my two dogs at the time, Boogie and Bravo. Then the last picture was a detailed inked picture of a griffin that I remember being very proud of.

-2009-I had gotten photoshop and a tablet for christmas in 08 and immediately began to practice and play around with it. I adapted pretty quick. The first picture I think was the second picture I had ever done on photoshop and a gift for an old friend over on DA. Next was yet another gift I had done and one of the very first background I had ever attempted. After that I figured I'd hop on the bandwagon and join the uncompleted woof comics introducing the cover of Chaos Era. And continuing on to the last one was a simple picture just to introduce another character. This year was my most experimental year especially with backgrounds.

-2010- 2010 was another great year with art but it was definitely one of my slowest. Towards the beginning of the year my computer had crashed and I was unable to do anything until I got a new one. Well we didn't get another computer until about 7 months later and even then my tablet wasn't working on it...Which took even longer to figure out what the problem was. But my tablet did just fine in iScribble so I stuck with iScribble a lot of the time while I waited for something about my tablet or photoshop to be done. Clearly it had been fixed and I moved onto practicing other animals and trying out new things in photoshop once again.

-2011- This was definitely one of my best art years I think along with 2009. I began to branch out from only furry animals to humans to practice anatomy. I then began to draw humans from my roleplay with an old friend and found them to be a lot relieving and a nice change of pace from furries. I also experimented with some background that weren't found in nature. From then on I began to do more and more humans and improved greatly in my art from experimentation with them.

-2012- I was still on my human high and moved onto a new roleplay that I became obsessed with and doodled characters from all the time. This was also the year I was introduced to neopets and loved drawing them almost pulling me back to feral animals of sorts. Though 2012 was definitely my slowest year with art. This was due to a senior year finally starting and I was literally roleplay obsessed to the point I put roleplay before my art and would rather do doodles of roleplay. Eventually towards the end of the year starting in November I began to do more and more bit by bit but was still slow at spitting work out.

-2013- This year has been one of my greatest years with art thus far! I have a good balance between humans and furry art now and both have some advantages to how they'll help me improve. This year so far has also been my most experimental year! It's almost like I rediscovered photoshop. In a sense I kinda did! I stopped using photoshop to only use SAI then wanted to attempt photoshop again. So far all my art that I've used for experiments have been my best pieces which in this row I'm showing you the art I played around with most the last one being my most recent experiment commission/piece that turned out great in my opinion!

So I'm hoping I can continue on with my experiments and get better and better! So onwards with the rest of 2013! Hope it doesn't slow down x.x
