I just saw Rogue One for the first time and belonging to the kind of art I do: it was impossible not to think that ol' Bor could have more than one use! Let alone when Saw doesn't believe adult Jyn's identity at first, immediately tipping me into driving her myself to the lair of the hentai-truth monster!

Haha it wasn't too bad in my opinion. All Star Wars movies have flaws, but the mega fans are too blinded to see them to be honest. The actress was hella cute so to see this come from the recesses of your tormentive mind is glorious to be honest. It never even clicked with me about that damn thing being a tool, so well done for being so attentive ;3
Great detail recreating her outfit and bouncy hairstyle, having her bound in such a way its as much punishment for her as you in the end. A great tribute, even if the source material scorned you~

It wasn't bad at all!
Fans are always blinded. At this rate I'm severely flabbergasted as how obvious was that Kylo Ren would kill Han Solo on Force Awakens (but in the movie theater: many people gasped and nearly screamed as it happened... all the while I was dumbfounded on my seat). Nevertheless... FA didn't gave us Jyn and this Bor fellow who now pleases her lovely bottoms with his talents!
At least something good came out of it!

I'm old enough and long-time movie fan to not see most of the times: some obvious plots coming along.
Not everything I can see, but also not everything can fly over me like it does to casual movie goers (not saying that "I'm not a normie", but I've seen waaaay too much shit to simply start ignoring most obvious things when they're put on screen, which is why it baffles me that fans are caught off guard with the obvious).

So much has been done before, its difficult to make something truly groundbreaking. Either they give you bland action which somehow entertains, or just some freaky ass shit that give you nightmares for the wrong reasons XD
I think because I've watched a lot of Youtube critics as well like Nostalgia Critic over the years, he's given me the power to predict how something will go XD I get surprised every so often, but not as much as I used to

Watching reviewes and more movies of the same genre or similar tropes: makes you at large a genre savvy!
I don't want to use the term "normies" because not everybody has the time or will to sit through many movies and stuff. So, these kind of surprises are just that for them, surprises. I can rarely watch a horror movie today that surprises me in some way, I even go back and watch shitty ones and find little things that they actually did right but remain buried among the negative stuff and also the little understanding of non-genre or movie followers.
And of course... things like ol' Bor here spark my creative mind into pieces like this!

Yeah I never trust paid movie critics much because thats their opinion still. They might be paid to be more logical about it but I just can't trust them. I watched Batman V Superman to get my own thoughts of it, rather than just trust the critics and ignore it. We should always be experiencing things in life with our own two eyes

It's best to form your own opinion, let others believe whatever they want. Although, I'll always say that since "taste" exists, bad taste is always justified. "I like X thing and I think is great", when X is one of the greatest pieces of shit nobody could polish into a diamond regardless of trying so hard. Not to say that people have "shit" taste, but sometimes we like something bad and most common people will not associate the badness of something because their taste can't be wrong!

I agree to that I do, the best way to describe it is like food. We don't all like the same food. I hate most vegetables and will only have them when they're used in a certain way with the recipe. We wouldn't all like the same things, otherwise this would all be boring as sin XD That being said, there's still an argument for people liking something utterly grotesque or just plain inhuman *coughhumancentipedecough*

From what I heard, its been received quite warmly from mostly everyone. I'm not even a particular horror fan myself but I'd want to see how much better it was than the crappy mini series it had XD

It was fairly better than the mini-series, yet, the clown looks scary and deranged right off the bat... which is something off to me, because Tim Curry's portrayal of Pennywise was innocent to lure children into him before he actually got scary (not that he wasn't at first anyway, he was fucking Tim Curry!), while Bill Skarsgard's is always off since the first words he says to Georgie at the beginning.
For all its lows, the movie is a pretty solid product and a strong contender for best horror movie of this year.

Well that's good to hear. I see what you're saying, his appearance was meant to be enticing to lure children but the new one just looks demonic from the get-go. To me though, all clowns have this disturbing air about them. XD I'm not particular scared of them, they're just...unnerving

I think they could have used more movies, instead of cramming the books in a single one! No character has much development, some acting is stiff and definitively the pacing suffered a lot (I was sleeping during various points of the movie).
I felt it really stuck up as a "non-main" Star Wars movie... something that wasn't necessarily bad (I love outside stories myself), but I was far more entertained with Force Awakens, movie which repeatedly made me roll my eyes over stuff!
