Long overdue commission forMy bud's got a team of OCs who rivals RWBY's own and he wants them squaring off (for laughs).
For now, Ruby's got Brinley pretty much ready for some serious foot fun!
There's more like this to come with time. Meanwhile, I hope he enjoys these characters and pretty much the most complex pose I've done to date!

You know I was thinking it was a bigger pose than you've done before 
I'm quite happy you've drawn one of my favourite characters too, and in her updated outfit to boot. You've handled all the little hooks and buckles nicely. Her facial features seem to be smaller in relation to her whole head. I know she's slightly further away but it doesn't seem to completely fit. The cheeky expression is perfect as it is mind you

Trust me, it's the pose (because it was extreme making the skeletons work, also, got referenced from real life for Ruby's legs, but I didn't trace the pose and merely elaborated on how I could bend the ankles enough to have soles always seen)!
And her face, yes, Ruby gave me a lot of problems (is probably one of the busiest characters I had to make details to with that Corsette thing she's wearing) and her existence being in 3D while still looking perfectly serviceable as an anime character: somewhat gave me trouble when doing her hair and face. I think the mouth and nose are spot on, but the eyes I made about 4-5 pairs before deciding for the ones that looked "less worse" or else I would have never finished the piece and they still came out somewhat small!

I see what you're saying yeah. The 3D models they've used in the past were kinda...odd. They've gotten better but it was hard to discern features at times, especially facial features in poor lighting scenes.

Yes! Those 3D anime models always have some uncanny valley-ish things to them that I hate when translating them into a "paper" or whatever other medium I use.
Like I said, it shouldn't be a problem since they're "anime" anyway, but RWBY characters have done this number to me for some reason!

Ni la pose de ambas ni el pelo de Brinley segΓΊn la forma en la que estΓ‘ acostada me dieron tanto problema como tratar de traducir a Ruby (que es un personaje 3D) a mi estilo. Y eso que esos personajes tienen mil fan arts y son casi casi dibujos salvo porque si se nota que son modelos animados. Pero extraΓ±amente, eso solo la hizo mΓ‘s difΓcil para mi.
Los ojos... (porque son los ojos los que mΓ‘s joden en mi dibujo)... Β‘Hice como 4-5 pares de ojos diferentes para ella!
