I was asked by to take a shot at her OCs.
Guess some girls are not going to last as much as the one in the middle! It was fun doing this one, it is my first piece featuring someone else's OCs.
Hope she likes it (as much as her OCs seem to be enjoying it too)!
Notes:

> Kudos to anyone who figures what the kanjis on their clothes mean (I hope they're clear enough).

Working on others OC from time to time is a nice thing, you get to practice new situations and characters, don't you think? Especially if the final delivery is such a nice picture.

Haha! And you're full of truth. I don't mind getting ideas and whatnot, if I ever please them I'll even tag the person who gave them (with conditions on my own side for the artwork to exist).
But I guess I haven't made clear that I don't do art for a living... this is a hobby, something I do from time to time. This is why I can't be as constant as the community would probably love me to be.

I'm in the same possition as you, art is a hobby to me as well (that gives me money from time to time). But what I was trying to say, based on my own experience, is that sassy people never rest, be careful with that. They are always on the look to prey capable artists such as you XD

Trust me, some of them are restless.
I can only put myself in their position some times. I started drawing on my own when I wasn't pleased about what was I seeing, or if I wanted drawings somehow and if I wanted an specific character I only knew it myself.
Let alone when the internet was a little backwards and getting proper material was still a problem.

No one knows best what we've been through over the years. Wanting more of these drawings and being tied to waiting for someone else to do them or even worse: paying them. It's awful.
That's why I started drawing and made my own dreams come true!

I agree with all what you say save for the part about paying people. With time I've learned that you can show your support to other people whose styles you like with a little investment

I do believe in supporting your fave artist and naturally some of them do this for a living outside of the internet and most likely drawing these kind of things takes away some of their time (which isn't free).
At least from my side, I don't like to charge for my artwork. I started doing this for my love of the concept in itself and also to support the community. If I'm given something in return, I'll ask for trades or anything of the like. Other than this, I don't consider myself an "artist" like many other talents here and also I don't do anything similar to this as a job in real life (in fact, my job is very different). I work my gallery with my own free time (which again, isn't free, but I personally decide to work so)!
It's just a matter of perspective! Of course you're entitled to support financially your favorite artists!

Artistic license is good, sometimes filling in the gaps can make something wonderful XD Kudos to you for translating them into your style, and I am loving that redhead! ;D Very expressive feet too, with such cute wriggling and warm colors ;3 I'd have to say the redhead's kanji is Aku meaning bad! I could be wrong, very very wrong XD

That redhead is also my fave!
Their kanjis together form the word "Nintendo" (as it was originally written). Her kanji nearly looks like Akuma's (from Street Fighter), so everyone thinks that it is that! Just a small easter egg since the owner of the OCs uses "Nintendo" on her name. Also, the redheads feet are probably the best again here! I did some effort to have some distinctive feet for each girl.
I've been attempting some soft coloring as of late (so it is seen on my newest piece).
