Like the chapel, the inn is an integral part of the castle's defenses, even though it lies outside of the castle proper. Its position allows defenders to fire upon anyone who attacks from the north, be it by sea or through the city itself. Usually, though, it is just a favorite destination for out-of-towners for its hospitality and great food - the owner, a Blest named Dalren Lane, is an amazing cook who some suspect uses magic to enhance the flavors of the food. It helps that his beautiful sister Nadia is the wine stewardess!
