Description
Part 6 of 6. This is just a little collab/experiment with I'll upload a couple of the pages each day. Sorry if it ends up hard to follow, but the unique nature of his writing is what makes it a fun little project. Done in Painter 9 as usual, trying to be less rigid with the sequential art.Ok, that's all for that. Still trying to peg down a solid way of doing things. Expect any future comic pages to be nothing like these.

Love it, it reminds me of Sandman a bit with the close ups and "cropped" images floating on a background image that sets mood. Very nice work!

Being less rigid works a lot better, these are more interesting compositionally and palette-wise. There is definitely more energy here.

Simple, yet so elegent and beautifully sensual. Even it's just a "fun little project" to you, please make more of 'em!

I would hope future pages are like these, these are incredible! I'm not a pro or anything, but I've studied comics for years now. your style is GREAT! would it be wrong to guess you've followed Dave Mckeans art? either way this sequence is terific! find some more sample scripts in different genres, and apply what you did here. personally I thought the page size was cool, I thought it added to the composition, but the more traditional 11x17 would be good for formal reviews. great work, definately going to watch what's coming up from now on.
khy,

Wow, this whole series is very dreamlike. It's not like you can follow it like you can follow a book, but somewhere inside you tells you that it all makes sense.
I like it, dude.

Da-ymnn. This is fine. Mighty fine. The colours and feel of it... it all looks like it's under the shade of autumn leaves. Tres chic.

This is a very interesting comic so far. I love the focus on light and the sorta sketchy/rough/impressionist style.

Really good feel..! How the panels are relatively unsequential, just different shots of one scene, that makes the dialoge take over. So the story is really good and the art compliments it and completes tha mood.
You kick ass!
Take this as a compliment; I think your future pages will be hella more kickass. This comic seems a little too peaceful for ya.

Could you teach me how to do this type of art...and all the other types you do? lol. All of your work is very impressive in detail and texture. Someday I hope to train myself to be this good. Cheers!

Well, there's not much to teach. Just practice + study + look at lots of good art. No need for hope.
