I know I said I was gonna stop making these... but who am I kidding? I'm making this one kinda different, in that it's a different setting for each player. I'm borrowing the idea from , soo yeah. Enjoy! ^^Update: CLOSED! I WILL NOT START ANY MORE RPS ON THIS!

Back on the hangar, something crawls out of the shuttle.

Several hours later, a mechanic is trying to fix the shuttle, grumbling to himself while soft Hawaiian music plays in the background.
"Would you believe this? Β Thrusters completely shot over here, and the front's gotta be all replaced... they don't pay me enough for this."
Something clatters behind the shuttle. Β He looks up. "Frank, if that's you trying to scare me again, you gotta watch your-"

On the bridge, that same moment: Β "Captain, we lost Tanner's signal."
"What do you mean?"
"His vitals are gone."
"Shit. Suit malfunctioning?"
"Negative, but I'm reading massive damage and... camera image coming up."
"Put it on the screen."

There is some kind of creature, about a foot tall, with six arms and six legs, each with four razor sharp claws. It has pitch black scales and three giant red eyes. Two antennae are poking out of it's head next to a pair of horns. It's consuming Tanner's internal organs.

Alarms trigger throughout the ship.
"Larson, lockdown mode, now! Blow the hangar!"
"But, sir-"
"NOW, DAMMIT!!"
"Yes, sir. Emergency decompression of hangar, commencing!"
The camera cuts for a moment, before debris gets sucked past as the hangar doors blow off. Β The suit camera lifts away from the corpse and flies into space, before the signal goes out of range.Β
"... Did we get it?"

"We lost all sensor and cameras when the hangar blew. Β I've got no way to check, except manual entry-"
"No. Β Not an option. Β Post a guard by the hatch at all times, keep the ship under partial lockdown. We've still got a job to do."
I sigh, and pinch the bridge of my nose. Β "... I'll be in my quarters."

Some time passes and Larson calls your radio.

"Ugh..." I murmur as I get back up. Β "Larson, what time is it?"
"0400 Zulu time, Cap."
"Damn, how long was I out?"
"About 14 hours... we've reached premium tow speed, should reach Mars in a week... but, something's come up."
"What is it?"
"... The last guard heard movement behind the hangar hatch."

I'm already running by the time he finishes saying that. Β I barely make it to the bridge before the ship shudders and alarms go off.
"Hull breach, hull breach! The hatch to the hangar just blew, we're venting atmosphere!"
"Everyone, configure suits to environment!"
Our flight suits, fortunately, have automatic helmets that pop up in the event of decompression. "How do we look, Larson?"
"Atmosphere draining fast, at 40%. I've lost Locke's transponder, he was on guard, and we have movement."
"What?"
"That thing we saw? It's on board, and heading this way."

"... Did anyone alert Doc?"
"I'm still in med bay you bastards... that thing went past heading for you."
I turn around. "... Okay. New plan, fall back to the Argo. Β Doc? Head out the back and meet us there. If the hangar's not still open, the breach in the hull will work too."
Larson looks confused. "But sir, how..."
I grab a rifle and aim at the cockpit windows.

(I kinda leaned heavily on Dead SpaceΒ when I thought this up, but it sounds like that would work too)
"Wait for it... all suits, prepare for decompression..."
Something starts to tear at the hatch, and I fire a burst through the glass. Β Everyone is sucked out of the ship. In dead silence, we use the force of air to cross the distance to the Argo, and get on through the hole in her side. Β We reach an airlock and recompress. Β "Everyone still with us? Doc?"
"I found the hangar, I'll be there in a sec."
