Jack's about 15 here so Lettie's 13. Look at that gangly Altavian. I love drawing Jack as a teen with his big nose and messy hair. he's yet to grow into his features

'On the run...? Hardly.' Jack knew better than to draw unwanted attention. His guarded, barefooted steps along the plaza pavement were easily drowned by the hustle and bustle. But it wasn't an easygoing din by any means. News of the Crankrat scourge- especially the escaped one- had all but engulfed Bantaria. There were talks of moving the curfew up another hour and reinstating Search & Destroy procedures. Suspicious eyes scanned for anything that was off; a hobbled gait, an unusual hair color, a certain glint in the iris. Jack held his companion's hand tight as they pushed through the thickest part of the crowd, rendering them quite the invisible pair of faces. Lettie let out a small gasp when a fellow called out in their direction, but it was a false alarm and, reflexively, the little redhead made a gesture as if to shield her expression and not give them away. 'Almost to the fifth street storeroom...' Jack thought. 'She'd better *not* give us a reason to break into a run....'
