I can see myself cruising this road on my mountain bike at the time the photo was shot. I'm going fast, but not so fast I can't enjoy the beauty. It smells of crisp spring air. I'm feeling the peace, but am a bit creeped out as well. This is where I would see a fawn at the side of the road, unaware of my presence because I move silently on my bicycle. It is also where the insane are drawn to, and where their stone cold victims lie with but a hand, or lock of hair exposed above the shallow grave. Unlike the innocent fawn, the insane are aware that I am there.
Excellent work. Does what a photo should...inspire thought and imagination!
